Oma's Fresh Slaw Recipe

For the Slaw

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped or shredded1 red onion, diced (small or medium, to your taste)
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 5 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar

For the Dressing

  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp dry mustard

Directions
Combine all the slaw ingredients into a large bowl. Combine the dressing ingredients in a small pot, bring to a boil & stir. Pour the dressing over slaw mixture and toss well. Chill in the fridge in an airtight container.
